For today's update I added a new mode called Experiment. Here is where I will put random things I'd like to test out, espcially before making a persistent gamemode out of them. The leaderboards for Experiment mode will likely be reset in the future.
The first experimental gamemode allows you to charge up a meter by getting 500 points, at which point you can right click to shoot a shape much faster, allowing you to push other shapes in a larger variety of ways. It adds an additional layer of resource management and complexity while staying relatively simple too so I think it is a cool mode. I'd like to get more creative and either combine additional mechanics with this one for a new mode, or make separate ones just to see what can be with this genre when I have the free time.
