I’ve made a weird assortment of art of the years, and a lot of it doesn’t really fit into a larger project. So I made some bits into a playful, vaguely modernist oracle deck! I’m not really a believer in cartomancy, but it’s one of those superstitions that’s fun to play with, and I most definitely do believe in storytelling and prompts to help with creativity.
Each of the 43 cards is associated with an interpretation and some words of different parts of speech.
As always, vanilla JavaScript. Started earlier this year, took me a couple runs of steady work to finish. Was a lot of fun. I could see more of these happening, too, different aesthetics and designs - maybe even a tool other people can use to make their own.
