The new version of the playtest brings significant changes to controls, tutorials, leaderboards and UI based on feedback collected during the first playtest version.
What’s New in Version 2.0.0:
Controls have been completely reworked and simplified by removing ruddering, while making normal and sweep paddle strokes more intuitive and adding reverse paddle strokes.
Furthermore, the ability to tilt has been introduced, which allows you to both dive and jump for even more advanced maneuver mechanics.
To introduce the new controls the tutorial has been completely reworked and separated into a simple and an advanced tutorial level, teaching basic controls as well as advanced tilting controls respectively.
Each level now offers the option to display world record and personal record ghosts, helping you understand how world records were achieved and how you can improve your personal best times.
The level select screen has been entirely rebuilt and now allows for filtering of both map types and map tags.
