Im very pleased with how how my final game turned out it looks roughly how I imagined it at the start of development I would have liked to have added more animations and sound effect but implementing tackling was harder than expected especially controlling the whole backline at once. The art could have definitely used some polish but om happy with how it looks and it matches the overall art style I was looking to achieve. I added tackling players to the game which I don't think I had planned in the beginning it made the game more challenging to lose players and made who the ball got passed to more important.
Testing session:
The testing session for me was a bit rough for me as the UI I was working on had bricked my game so I had to use a rough older build but testers got the basic idea of backline such as controls and art style direction. most of the feedback was obvious stuff like game over states and try states in the game but there was also great feed back of starting my players further back and changing their speeds which I implemented in my final build.
