- Context:
- Before a conversation begins, the player will be provided with background information about who they are, who the other character is, and what their conversation will be about.
- Response timer: you have 15 seconds to choose one of three responses. Failing the timer will result in the NPC’s doubt metre increasing.
- Point system:
- Each response has a hidden number that contributes to your final score at the end of the level.
- NPC systems:
- NPCs have a doubt metre that increases varyingly when you:
- Say something aggravating.
- Say something contradicting a previous statement.
- Don’t respond at all.
- Win state:
- If the player successfully finishes a conversation without the NPC’s doubt metre reaching a 100%, they’re awarded a score based on their performance.
- Fail state:
- If the NPC’s doubt metre reaches a 100%, the player fails the level.
