Ferrous Team - Week 3

Completed this week::
- Game UI:
- Implemented:
- Updated controller support for new mechanics
- Code refactoring for object pulling and stasis code
- Refactoring for model colour changing code
- Refactoring and bug fixing of ray effect code
- Added mechanic where objects have a charge. Objects can be charged in two different ways. They can pull objects towards them or push objects away from them. By default objects, have no charge.
- Improved physics and bug fixed objects with charge
- Created a new playable level, with new features. The level requires players to use the pulling feature to take blocks to the switches to activate them and open the door. Then the player must use two blocks to climb up to the end.
- Pivoted to adventure game, so time was spent in ideation for the adventure experience
- Art:
- Rigging and animations for movement complete
- New models created
Obstacles and/or Blockers:
Important Discoveries:
- Level design is incredibly difficult and requires lots of inspiration and creativity.
Next Steps:
- Fine tune any other physics elements
- Level building
- Refine the tutorial
- Import models and design environment
- Game UI/Interface
- More bug fixing
