Looks like my in-browser version is going to have to be slimmed down quite a bit; at the moment, transparent backgrounds on viewports aren't supported by Godot in Compatibility/Web mode, which kinda breaks my UI. There were also a number of substantial lag points, exclusively in a browser, when, say, stomping on an ant; and these may be more trouble than they're worth to work through, especially when you can just download it and play it full-blast!
That said, I've got a heart UI, visible damage effects, and a candy corn count. No idea what the candy corn is meant to be used for yet, but I'm sure it will come to me before Halloween hits. As of Halloween I'm intending to have a full demo available; by this time next year (or maybe by Easter) I should ideally have a full purchasable game going with at least eight levels. Probably more.
Gümmi out.
