First: I spent some time trying to figure out embedding. I got Emularity to work, but performance was pretty bad on my configuration. Granted, Safari on a 5-year-old-Macbook is not the best way to run cpu-intensive wasm, but it's also a real bad first impression for other people who aren't running high-end gaming rigs. Anyway, my game will remain download-only for now.
Today, I finally implemented the menu option for the campaign game!
Granted, it doesn't actually do anything yet.
But hey, now that I made the door, I have no choice but to build the house it leads to. I still don't know what the gameplay is going to be like! Exciting!
Also, I added a toggle to turn off ball exploding:
You might ask, "Why would I ever want to turn that off? If anything, I want the ball to explode more!". I think so too, but it's pretty annoying to debug shot trajectories when the ball is constantly exploding, so the option is mostly there for me right now.
Next: something more fun!
