0.8.6: Corporate America Is Trying To Kill You
In this update, you can finally play through the corporate office dungeon! Lots of fine tuning to do, but it's there!
What's New:
- Corporate office dungeon is now playable, start to finish.
- All enemy squads have been updated for better variety
- All-new lighting effects for the torch, flashlight, and dark areas.
- You can now find better items and equips in the Warehouse
- Updated nw.js for performance improvements
- Added a little mini cutscene after each storyline boss.
- Burning Bushes now run around really fast when lit, instead of burning in place.
- Cragbeak is now disguised as a rock.
Known Issues:
- The first time you load an older save, there will be a vignette on the screen until you change locations
- Project 5PH1NX uses its Lv. 50 moveset, making it incredibly difficult to beat.
- The cutscenes at the beginning and end of the corporate office are broken
- Player characters other than option 3 don't have a proper swimming graphic
- Martin has an incorrect menu portrait
- Special stats aren't shown on the equip screen
- Transporter badge currently does nothing when used. (still check those beacons though!)
What to test:
- Play through the first four dungeons as a Bear, Jock, Otter, and Geek. Did any of them have a much easier or harder playthrough than the others?
- In enemy encounters, are there any monsters that seem overpowered or underpowered?
- Are there enemy squads that feel overpowered or underpowered?
- Are there any moves the enemy uses that you wish you could use?
