To give off a creepy vibe straight from the beginning I gave the main menu have noise post processing. The music track playing is viviphobia by pikaro, a friend of mine that kindly allowed me to use their music in my game. I found it matched the atmosphere perfectly.
I kept the HUD minimal, and had health and ammo outlined with a red border to help draw attention and make them clearly visible to the player.
I had a few people mention the size of the blood being too big and spreading out too much. I want there to be lots of blood to match the name, Bloody Battlegrounds, but I may lower the size of the blood particles a bit.
Damage feedback when shooting mentioned. A flash effect on the enemy hit, screen shake, or hit sound effect were suggested.
One tester found it hard to differentiate walls from walkable surfaces.
