Demo Update v0.1.0.0
Changes for v0.1.0.0:
MAJOR UI OVERHAUL:
- Redesigned almost all of the UIs outside of combat
- Fixed a navigation issue with the game-over screen
- Fixed an issue that broke the game if you tried to retry after dying
- Changed the when the game notifies about a new high score
ENEMY CHANGES:
- Enemy outlines now flicker when hit
- Overshields now indicate where you've hit them
- Added visual effects to indicate when a squid is buffed by a support
- Updated overshields for enemies buffed by armor squid
- Fixed an issue where support squids would get lost
WEAPON CHANGES:
- Replaced the deployables' projectile visual
- Reduced recoil on certain guns
- Made the sparks when hitting enemies easier to read
- Changed weapon swapping to instant
- Added tracer rounds to show where you're shooting
- Changed the heavy cannon to fire projectiles instead of hit-scan
- Shrunk the heavy cannon so you can actually tell it's a weapon
- Added a flame visual to the flamethrower
ADDITIONAL CHANGES:
- Fixed the cannon's audio cutting out early
- Fixed an issue with music overlapping if you returned to the title mid-game
- Added outlines to item pickups
- Animated the dials on the desk
