Heyas all! Welcome to the first* (ish) demo build of Demon Legend!
Demon Legend is a Japanese style Horror metroidvania game full of monsters (yokai) thats also a love letter to old platforming games (with special mention to Castlevania 3, Ninja Gaiden, and Faxanadu)
The demo currently contains most of the first area of the game and a few select upgrades, an intro boss, and a first level boss, 2 swappable characters (of 4 planned), and various story content.
We are planning another update later this month with some additional polish (music, abilities, upgrades, etc) as well.
We also appreciate any feedback! If you like (or hate) the game please let us know and what we can do to make it better!

*Note: we actually started the project way back before covid and due to complications and seeking work had to hold off on it for ~3 years and just recently picked it back up!
