#Menu #UI #Options #Quit
Mad props to whomever programs UI in Unity... Also, mad props to whoever can say "mad props" without sounding like a total arse.
This update doesn't really have any bug fixes in it, I looked at my lovely spreadsheet full of bugs, features, and everything in between that need to be added and said to myself "Screw it, just do up a semi-decent looking menu.
Welp, I tried.
As is probably glaringly obvious, I'm not a UI designer. I need more practice if I'm ever going to pull that off. But, at the least, I have a fully functioning menu that pauses mouse look when opened.
I've also implemented sub-menus for quitting and for options, mainly so that you don't hit the wrong button and immediately quit, but also to hide the options a little more.
Options....
options...
options..
I knew I forgot to add something!
In all seriousness though, the options menu is just a placeholder until I figure out what I actually need in an options menu, my thoughts are just to stick some basic volume controls in there.
Finally, with Unity announcing that they're completely shaking up how multiplayer works... I may have to abandon this project prematurely. Hard to say just yet, we'll see how we go.
