Playtesting Notes:
Dahee:
Time started: 8:16 pm
Time ended: 8:23 pm
- Shock at mouth
- Thinks it’s awesome
- Confused at scroll wheel at first but quickly caught on
- Says would play for hours
- Wants to get it right addicting
- Shocking at first but after initial shock is fun
- Little more difference in teeth needed but otherwise can tell
- Sound feedback would help to tell where tooth goes
- Controlling the z axis is best aspect
- “Where am I missing a tooth?” but found area quickly
- Top jaw is harder because of the angle
- Doesn’t bother her that she can go through gums, adds to fun
- Should have happy music to juxtapose visuals
Dan:
Time started: 8:25 pm
Time ended: 8:30 pm
- Quickly got scrolling mechanism after watching Dahee
- Dan is a silent player
- Premolars and molars are too similar but can figure it out, was neutral about it when asked if it adds or takes away from the game
- Says frustrating at first but is fun
- Likes grim as fuck aesthetic
Neither Dahee nor Dan abused the scroll to have the tooth be out of the camera view
Dahee gave up after a while for second playthrough
Suggests having a tap-out option so can come back later
Jordan:
Time started: 8:44 pm
Time ended: 8:53 pm
- Getting hang of it
- Got mechanics down packed
- Sound feedback helps
- Would play for long just to get it right
Silas:
Time started: 9:04 pm
Time ended: 9:11
- Hates the way it looks but in a wonderful way
- Likes not knowing if it’s right or wrong
- Can’t tell the premolars and molars apart
- Hates sound feedback because it’s gross but that’s good
