Vae Victis Khan was first published on Itch more than two and a half years ago, on February 2021. Since the second version I have been using a formula where older version was "name you price" and the new version was $3.
I'm changing this policy.
There are two main reasons for this change. The first reason is that game is about to be available on Steam for $14.99 and they are adamant about not seeing it sold elsewhere cheaper. It makes them look like fools. The second reason is that after three years of development the game is simply worth much more than $3. As of version 0.10, it has more lines of text than Lord of the Rings and offers long hours of gameplay and a good replay value.
So, how are things going to work?
Effective immediately, the game's price will be $14.99. If you had access to a version before, you will not lose it. If you purchase version 0.10 (and all future versions) for $14.99, all future updates will go into the same folder, i.e. you'll get all the future updates for free.
Thanks for reading and you continuous support.
And now for version 0.10.
Smoother dungeon revisits - for a long time, revisiting a Wench in the dungeon was an awkward replay of her initial scene, no matter how many times you have visited her. For version 0.10 I have revised all the “revisit dungeon” flows so they now make more sense and the stitches are less crude.
