We've been carefully listening to your feedback.
While we're not immediately going to throw the control scheme over board, since a lot of you (and us) enjoy it the way it is right now, we recognize that it takes some getting used to, and the campaign in the demo is too short to get the hang of it.
The pirate level in the game is from much further in the campaign, so new players are ill equipped to handle it with just a few peasants. I've done some tuning and hopefully it should be more doable now.
Some people have experienced crashes in earlier version. I'm quite curious if this still happens. Please post your thoughts in the comments!
