As you all have known, Unity decided (starting in 2024) to shoot their legs by charge studios/publishers $0.02 PER INSTALL! This is an insane move and it proves that Unity is not to be trusted anymore. I can't say anything new that no one has said before, but this just proves that they can and will screw over developers/studios/publishers in the name of more (short-runned) profits*.
With that said, this is the only game we published so far that has used Unity and ever since most of our games run on Godot (except those that require the use of the engine for a subject). This game will be ported over to Godot and will be published before next year rolls out!
As a result, it will also be playable on the web as the credits roll is a video file (lol) and cannot be exported to web as a result. Sure we can exclude it and code in an alternative for the credits roll made for web, but we would rather not AHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA (time constrainsts and new projects to do).
When the Godot version launches, we will remove the Unity version from the listing either as soon as the Godot version launches or before 2024, depending on the state of the port.
That's about it! I'll continue doing the Blorbo remake in the meanwhile!
