Based on some feedback(thank you!), I have fixed a couple of things.
First, when the player was hit, they could be immediately hit again after the "shock" animation was done, possibly leading to a trapped cycle of being hit over and over again. There is now a short period of invincibility after the shock animation is done and the player has control again so that they can react and do what they need to do.
Second, I fixed some minor UI elements not showing up in the right place on different screen aspect ratios. If you use Unity, double-check those UI anchor points!
As for upcoming new features, I am currently brainstorming some level hazards. Perhaps the classic green acid drip from above, or maybe something with high voltage that needs to be switched off to continue? I won't be doing bottomless pits or fall damage in this game.
As usual, I'm open to any further feedback or suggestions.
