#Major update
Hello everyone!
If you’re reading this then a new build has been uploaded! Here’s a quick run down of changes:
AI
There are some that still use the old Behavior Tree system but that will be phased out.
While not in this current build, there is an enemy type that forgoes firearms in exchange for a large axe. But don’t let their size and speed fool you, you don’t want to be on the business end of it!
Helpful for debugging but also has a more practical use. The blue bar represents health and the yellow bar represents Stagger. When the Stagger meter is full, all attacks are critical and the enemy is stunned.
Player
When the attack button is held down, the player’s weapon will fire until input is released or the weapon runs out of ammo.
Previously, some weapons would prevent firing until the reload was complete, but not show the animation.
When an enemy is eliminated, the Power meter is charged. When a character’s Ultimate is activated, the player would still receive a charge. This would allow the ability to remain active.
Game
When the player reaches a certain number of eliminations, they will receive a buff to their score multiplier. In addition, level specific events can now be triggered.
The player can now have special items that can revive them should they die during gameplay. Some incur a score penalty, while other, more rare items have no such penalty.
AMD’s FSR 2, Intel XeSS and NVIDIA DLSS have been implemented with various quality presets.
In between gameplay levels, the player can return to their Haven. Where they can select levels, change characters and unlock upgrades
There’s plenty more things that have been updated or are in the works that aren’t ready for primetime just yet. But we can’t wait to show you soon!
See you next time!
