September Update Live!
I'm planning monthly updates until the asset is complete. Here's what's been added for September's update:
- Added afropuffs hair layer.
- Added scarf and suspenders clothing layers (in the 11neck and 10outr folders, respectively).
- The 11neck and 10outr layers used to be called 11cape and 10coat, but I was always getting them confused, so I changed it for clarity. This is the first update that has clothing in those layers, so the change shouldn't be a big deal.
- Changed the naming convention of the weapon sprites (for future-proofing) and added new axe, mace, and club 1-handed weapon sheets (update your weapon sheet filename references if you've already implemented sword or bow animations).
- Added sprites for the new weapons to the icon sheet.
- Refined all the instrument sprites and icons, and added some more (listed in the order they appear on the icon sheet):
- Flute animation (bamboo flute, ocarina, bass flute, shawm, gemshorn, crumhorn, pan flute)
- Lute animation (lute, sitar, shamisen, banjo, acoustic guitar, stand-up bass, dulcian (actually a woodwind, but uses the strings animation), fiddle (requires 32x anim #14 for the bow movement))
- Drum animation (hand drum, hide drum, bongos, goblet drum, tabla drum, handpan)
