Version 2.0 Release Notes!

Shonen RPG
A downloadable game for Windows

The following changes have been made to the game:

16 brand new items implemented (making a total of 42), three of them being a new item type called projectile.


•  A currency system has been implemented along a shop system in which the player can buy and sell items.

     o  There are 4 different shops hidden in the map, each one has exclusive items.


• Combat System:

     o  An affinity system has been implemented, in which the affinity between characters will be increased when performing certain actions,                 such as protect, healing, item usage or stat boosting attacks.

     o  The blood boiling nekketsu mechanic has been implemented, in which one attribute of the characters will get boosted when another                      character who they had max affinity with dies in battle.

     o Characters now learn new attacks when maximizing the affinity in between them.

     o Now the characters recover 5% of their Base MP and STA each time their ATB bar fills, encouraging the usage of the "Pass Turn" action o              when the characters run low on STA or MP.

     o Now the target selection buttons get updated on real time, if an enemy dies his button will disappear.

     o New pop up messages have been added when a character performs a succesful item steal

     o New text have been added when someone receives either a super effective or not effective attack. 

     o New pop up messages have been added when you try to use a healing item on a character with max HP during battle, or when trying to                 protect an ally who is already protecting someone else.

     o New text and image with the attack type, power and MP/STA cost have been added next to the attack buttons.

     o Ice on ice effectivity has been fixed.

     o A new message has been added when defeating bosses, indicating that the character has been befriended and is ready to join the                             formation.

     o A new pop up message has been added with the amount of currency earned or lost after a battle.

     o The base power and MP/STA cost of some attacks have been adjusted

     o The base stats of some enemies like the Dogelephant have been adjusted

     o The base HP of some bosses like Nana or Cello has been increased

     o Fixed a visual bug in which some attacks would show their name as the description and the other way around.

     o Fixed a bug in which some moves would lower the stats of the original target instead of their protector.

     o Fixed a bug which would allow the players to open the inventory in the Battle Scene.

     o Fixed a bug in which some moves would not activate their secondary effects, like changing the weather.

     o Fixed a bug in which a 4 stage decrease of an attribute would be equal to a 100% decrease instead of a 90%.


• World Navigation:

      o The size of the world has been significantly reduced.

      o Fixed a bug in which the player would spawn at the starting position instead of the cave exit position.

      o Fixed a bug in which the player would spawn at the starting position after finishing a combat on water.

      o Fixed some Magic Cave collisions..

      o Fixed some Gamek Planet collisions and the trees are no longer floating.

      o Fixed some collisions at Ninja Town.


• Music and SFX:

      o New SFX plays when an overworld item is picked up .

      o New SFX plays when losing a battle.


• The NPC at the initial zone no longer gives the player the "Boat" key item, this can now be purchased at the Ninja Shop.
