Quick Update the Second

Tree Game
A downloadable Terrarium Maker for Windows, macOS, and Linux

Another brief update; this time with some fixes as well as additions.

For fixes:

  • Volume should now update to be your set value on game start up.
  • Fewer instances where a tree generated will not have a collider, and thus not be intractable.
  • Cloud effects have been added to the command line game mode, they can now be edited using the EditSky function. More information can be found in the in game manual.

On top of all these, a new shader has been added to the ground to give more body to grass, as well as help gardens look less sparse up close. As well the Randomise function has been updated to give more truly randomised tree's. This however does have the effect of producing some very boring tree's. But, alongside these few boring tree's some true monstrosities, and lovely weirdo's can be found.

As well, sometime this week a tutorial series on making procedural trees will start. Part one will be on run time mesh generation, in unity and how I have it set up specifically for tree game.

But I also want to know about all you players, mostly; what cool and weird trees you all have made, and can I see them pls? as well what mode you made them in?

Anyway that's it from me, I'll talk to you all in the comments, or when the tutorial goes up
