Insect Style
New assets, new sprites, new new new.. well it's not that much new actually but the game is continously looking more polished. Feels good
I also discovered UnityEvents that can be set in the Inspector, the possiblities are endless, and the headaches hopefully 1 divided by endless
Also there are Fullscreen Shaders and all sorts of fun blending modes to play with. Ugh if I only knew how to utilise those well
Goals:
- Make it clearer in which armory tab you are in the armory menu
- Implement groggy Volume that makes you more and more tired in the tutorial as you walk towards the campfire
- Make menu buttons more eye catching when they first appear
- Implement (?) boxes for most UI to provide more information
- More Insect architecture and second floor stage
- Insect Golems deal too much damage to one another probably, maybe look into that
- Try to remove Bludging, Pierce and Slice as simple damaging properties and completely derive them from Weight, Size, Sharpness and Speed
- Make Dala more extroverted
Extra Goals:
For next snapshot or the one afterwards if I'm too lazy
- Poison and Laceration/ Bleeding Debuffs
- Actor UI displaying those debuffs with animation
- Some debugging tool to see enemy stats you click on
- Actor Targeting System
- Graphical improvement to the Position Targeting System
- Combat Logs and Pickup Lines disappear forever after a while for some reason
