Hi all!
I have created this small game puzzle game called Coins of Destiny, where you control a fae that can turn either good or evil and move through a grid of coins to collect souls. Some coins are interactive coins of destiny. This is my submission to Mini Jam 139 and thus made in three days.
Mechanics
- Coins of destiny have a good and evil side too. You can move through them only when they are flipped to the same alignment as you; flip by touching them. Some also have objects on them, which will change depending on the coin's side.
- When flipping coins, you can control their spin to influence the result. Each coin is always thrown with the same initial speed and spin.
- Fae of different alignment consume each other's souls and, at the end, the one that has no more souls switches alignment. You start good and get more points for remaining good, but sometimes turning evil is necessary to complete puzzles.
