#Thoughts #Changes
Hey everyone!
Game jam was a really cool experience. Loved that I was able to finish a game (or should I call a prototype) and publish it. Always wanted to feel how it is when you publish your game. Wanted to experience it to understand how things work and also learn some lessons. Glad to see my game reaching #797 position when there was almost 7k entries 🤯. Especially cause it was my first ever solo game jam! I guess the most important criteria to me was enjoyment and on it I positioned in #457, which is absolutely insane. I know it needs to have a better presentation, but I'm not an artist, just a programmer who work full time on back-end coding, so I guess I should not be focused on presentation in 48h game jam 😀.
After the game jam I was on the holiday. And when I got back I checked that only a few more people looked on my game and currently I'am wondering should I continue developing this game or should I leave it as is and move on. Either way would really love to hear your opinion and thoughts on this games future.
On the voting period I fixed some major exploits. Here are all the changes I made:
Games were my passion as a teenager and as I started studying in university this passion went somewhere on the shelf. Now that I'm working full time as a back-end developer I feel like this passion of mine is coming back. I hope this game (and maybe others that I will publish) will be next boost to inspire me to do some great work for you guys. Also I hope when you see theese posts and follow the progress it will motivate you to do something intresting as well and realease your inner imagination to make fun and egaging games!
That's it for this time. See ya!
