I've been gathering feedback and it's becoming clear that the main issues are clarity of UI and game mechanics. So the first step I took in fixing that has been simplifying schedules and tutorial steps for tech research.
I've also added support for equipment, but there's only one piece that can be crafted now and there may still be some interface adjustments, so I haven't yet added tutorial steps for equipment.
