Feedback update
I've updated the game based on feedback! Changes:
- Timer from 60 sec to 20 sec, and will blink red at 5 sec countdown.
- I removed random looting items, no more toothbrushes!
- Valuebles now disappear when you loot them. I thought it would make the world feel more intractable. Despite the "ghost can't pick up items lore".
- I added High Score.
- I removed the big pop-ups and added a small picture with +$40 in top right corner instead. This did remove the easter eggs, but I think it's a worthy sacrifice for better gameplay.
- The camera is zoomed out a bit.
- No more "return" from main game and added type ESC to go to menu instead.
- Added dancing money at the score scene just for fun.
I couldn't add enemies or levels, unfortunately. I decided to keep the scale small like an experimental game. That way I can work on my next project without guilt. I think my main problem here is I kept my focus on making sure my codes and mechanics work rather than asking "Is it fun?" so I'll keep this in mind in the future.
