Devlog #3 - Game Version 0.5

Hey there!

I've just updated Zombie Defenders to version 0.5. I love the progress I've made to this project, and I'm really happy with it! With today's update the graphics are massively overhauled and the optimization is improved. Now the game feels way more engaging thanks to sounds/music.

In the future updates I want to focus on the map and exploration.

Version 0.5 Changelog:

Added:

• Reticle, now points to where the gun is aiming
• Reloads, ammo. Quite essential in any shooter, shows on HUD both in a bar and a text.
• More sounds, walking, ambient, environment etc.
• Music to game and the main menu

Changed:

• Massive optimization boost, about 200% on average.
• Zombies now have random speed, just to make things more interesting
• Improved lightning overally
• Fixed hitboxes
• Fixed lag between hitting a zombie and input
