Chaos Squad New Update with a few rebalances
Ok so while i have the time to do so i’m pushing another small update with some improvements (hopefully) and specifically here a few tweaks and rebalances to certain weapons.
Here’s the General Changelog for a quick overview :
- Revamped the Muzzleflash in a new scalable version to improve the animation and and weapon feedback
- Added the new muzzleflash system to enemy weapons as well
- Added pickup SFX to weapon pickups
- Added pickup SFX to repair pickups
- Increased overall projectile speed a bit more for all weapons (also applies for enemies)
- Tweaked some weapon mechanics (i’ll detail morte below)
- Optimized the enemy player detection system a bit
- Decreased “I-Frames” on Targets to be less “grind-ey” to destroy
- Added enemies and turrets to be shown on the radar
Here’s a quick overview of some of the Weapons Changes :
- Marksman Rifle has faster firerate and shorter delay between bursts to make a bit more effective/fun to use
- LMG has slightly decreased firerate to rebalance and have the Minigun feel more like an upgrade
- Rocket Launcher now has a muzzle flash when firing to give a bit more punch to the animation
- AR/GL combo has slightly increased firerate to the grenade launcher to make it a bit more useful/fun
- Beam canon has its SFX volume increased a bit to be more audible compared to other SFX
