Vesper Charm Release Party!!!

I'm proud to announce that I've finally finished Vesper Charm!!

I started fantasizing about the idea of  a short form RPG after becoming increasingly frustrated with the length of modern RPG's. Back when Final Fantasy 7 Remake's, mulit-game story was controversial. They were just becoming too long for me to finish in a reasonable amount of time (It took me 3 years to beat Grandia 3!)

Later on, I was browsing indie rpgmaker games, and came across a game called Lamia Must Die. It's basically an entire JRPG that skips the entire story and get's straight to the final boss. It didn't run very good on my computer at the time I played it, but I was really impressed, as it was the first time I had seen an example of the "short form RPG" I was fantasizing about. Vesper Charm is very inspired by that whole concept, except I got a little carried away and added a whole dungeon as well. I guess the best way to approach a game like that or Vesper Charm is to think of it as kind of an arcade game. A short but sweet experience that respects your time for as long as you let it, that's the best way I can describe Vesper Charm.

So I hope you enjoy my little experiment. I spent around a year working on it. :)
