[----------]
Welcome to the fourth changelog for the Mekra Descent playtest, documenting the changes of the current iteration of the system, which currently is 0.9.0 until stated otherwise.
[Why The Sudden Number Jump?]
The system as it stands is currently almost completely finished and ready for a full release. This update marks the last of the major playtest updates, with any subsequent updates afterwards being simple fixes such as grammar or exploits in the wording/mechanics. As such, the number has been jumped forward to mark the fact that the system is nearly complete - all that's left is playtesting. Keep an eye out for when the full game releases!

[What's Changed?]
Worldbuilding
Setting
Narrative Building
[Reasoning]
Since this update is all advice for the GM, I'll just lump it in to one, singular reasoning.
Before this update, the general player mechanics and GM advice for encounters and dealing with players was rock-solid. However, the GM section was desperately lacking in advice for worldbuilding and narrative construction, with very little help in that regard. This update serves to remedy that, providing whole new sections and subsections to aid the GM in doing these things and ensure they don't go off the wrong path or make any of the common pitfalls others GMs may do.
[Closing]
As Mekra Descent gets close to release now, we just wanted to refine the existing advice and rules to ensure everything works as intended on release, and this update is likely the last of that, sans any minor updates for fixes. We hope you enjoy, and we hope you look out for when the system fully releases!T
