Finally reached the milestone I wanted to with this ongoing project! It now has 3 stages, 8 weapons, and over 35 different upgrades with lots of content to explore! While I do still have plenty more ideas I'd love to implement, I think this is a good stopping point. I've learned tons of new skills and a new appreciation for code factoring, which I'm looking forward to applying in the future. Now I want to switch gears over to Unreal Engine 5 and step out of my comfort zone for my next project. I already have a prototype for the ambitious horror game I have in mind and I look forward to sharing more details soon!
