I haven't been very efficient this week.
I posed some shots but I made multiple mistakes. As a consequence, I had to pretty much reload a bunch of files, edit and rerender them. And I did it again and have once again to reload and edit another set of shots. Two facts make it even more infuriating. Adding insult to injury, if you will.
First, these were rookie mistakes, errors I've already made in the past and that I should have avoided easily.
Second, I spend 15 minutes loading a file for 20 seconds editing it. You've probably already heard me complaining about loading times, and I worked on improving the situation but it's still a pain in the butt. It really feels like a waste of time even if those twenty seconds of editing are important for the end result.
So, I'm still working on shot #67 and I have about 20 shots to reload and edit before progressing further. Luckily enough that part wasn't rendered yet.
On the other hand. I'm pretty satisfied with the new version of the scene so far. The script is way better, the renders are way better, and it's really worth the trouble.
I worked on an Android build for v0.6.3a.
I'll probably publish it tomorrow. But here is the thing : to make that build I have to update the renpy engine the game uses. It's relatively easy to do but may come at a price. Essentially in the saved game department. So far I didn't have that kind of issues but from experience, some other may encounter them.
The quick sum up :
