Heyyyyyyy guys, today my friend Yuanyi discovered a bug in the Start scene, where you can play every level even if you haven't unlock all of them. So I fixed it and republished a new version of A Weird Quest. You can download the latest version of this game below.
BTW, the Loading scene displaying a descending number is actually a puzzle, the first puzzle in this game. In the previous version, the whole game might break down sometimes so I fixed that too. But the puzzle still exists, the reason why I designed it is that I want to surprise you and guide you to think how to start this game, not just sit there and wait. I give you guys a hint: what would you do with the number on the screen if your mouse is enabled?
Some players said they couldn't start the first level of this game. It might be some sort of delay of writing the savefile that caused the problem. I've also noticed that there was another serious problem in this game. The 6th unusual achievement cannot remain unlocked in the savefile. So I kicked those two bugs in the ass and exported a new version.
Unfortunately, I can only export a Windows edition on my computer. Whenever I try to export a Mac edition using my pc, I fail. So every time when there's a new update of this game, I need to ask my friend's who has a Mac for help. But she's busy with her exams, I don't want to trouble her so the new version is only available for Windows now.
I uploaded a player's guide. Hope someone is willing to read it. I added some interesting stuff to it.
