Version 2.0.0 - Big Update!

Version 2.0.0 is out now!

Features

• Big graphical update - Larger fonts are now used for everything. UI has had be jigged around to accommodate the extra space that the text takes up. This meant that almost everything had to be re-drawn and re-coded.

• Tips section added - The tips that featured in a previous devlog are now available in-game.

• Title Screen - To make room for the larger level select buttons, the tutorial has now been moved to a new title screen along with the new tips section.

• Icon added to list view - An animated icon can now be seen when browsing games from the home menu in the Playdate's new list view.

• Control prompts improved - The illustrations of the buttons shown in on-screen prompts have been re-drawn to be more clear.

• Settings menu removed - Since all UI is now set to what used to be 'large' in the settings from the moment the game starts, the settings menu has been removed.
• Quit from tutorial added - You can now exit the tutorial at any time using the system menu rather that having to spam A or B to get to the end/beginning.
• Demo removed from home page - Since the previously available demo no longer reflects the full game, I've decided to remove it from itch.io.
