Codex Perplex was launched about a month ago, and I have been learning a lot about the business of making games. I got more feedback from watching others play it, and I decided to make a few changes. The following are the final changes I will make to this project.
- I made the playing instructions a lot more clearer. I realized that most the players were unsure about the controls. Instead of having arrows show which directions the player can go I decided to have wording to indicate them.
- To complete the entire game, the players will have to rely on knowing how they solved previous puzzles. That is why I made minor level design changes in the first two puzzles, so that the players will have clear knowledge before tackling more complex situations later on in the game.
