Bug Fixes and Engine Upgrade (v0.0.30)
This update includes bug fixes, refinements to the previous road blocks release, and an Unreal Engine upgrade from 5.1 to 5.2.
- Fixed traffic vehicles often flying into curbs and buildings when attempting to yield to approaching emergency vehicles. The "panic factor" has been greatly reduced :)
- Adjusted how close roadblocks spawn to the player, traffic vehicles, and other approaching police vehicles.
- Tweaked AI behaviors around barriers. Traffic will always stop for a crumbled barrier but will drive through if their lane is clear after the destroyed barrier is removed from the game. Police will go through a crumbled barrier in their lane and are more aggressive about attempting to blast through barriers.
- Fixed some bugs with AI Navigation near barriers that affected both traffic and police.
- Adjusted barrier crumbling behavior.
- Adjusted torque and gear shifting of player sports car. Car gets much better pick up now and gear shifts look more natural.
- Upgraded Unreal Engine version from 5.1.1 to 5.2.1.
