A recent update to Proton Experimental fixes missing sound effects in Game Maker 8.0 games. Judging by the change log, maybe if was coincidentally fixed with the missing audio cues in Aura: Fate of the Ages.

Now all versions of Bouncy Bonk run completely on Linux via Proton with all audio present and seemingly better performance too!
