#Beta update #Feedback
This update is reflecting the feedback I received over the last few weeks. Before I start making new content I wanted to make sure the game was easier and more accessible to players. I have done this through different means and have plans for new content to help curb any difficulty issues. Here is what is new;
Easier Gameplay Headliners
- Added Slow motion ability. It unlocks once per level to help sew up them tricky bits
- Removed normal mode's range. The player can sew anywhere but the borders
- Applied chill mode settings to most normal mode levels and made chill mode even easier. Chill mode features very low health enemies for a speedy and satisfying run through
Slow-Motion...in motion!
Player hit feedback
Added more feedback to the player getting hit so you can tell when, where and who hit you. Helping you avoid the same mistake twice
- A coloured X will stay where you were hit, so hitting a wall will show an X on the wall
- Text box will appear saying what hit you
- Added a tear sound effect on player hit
Boo enemy has had some tweaks
- Boo no longer leaves a hazard when it teleports from being hit, This reduces the hazard count and seems far more fair for players trying to deal 1 damage to Boo before it departs
- Gave Boo a indication that it is about to teleport naturally. It have an outline while it gets ready to teleport
- Fixed Boo going out of bounds every teleport
- Teleport phases are quicker. You don't have to wait as long for Boo to re-appear
Misc
- Optimized the player's mechanic so it would not produce memory loss the more you used it overtime
