After the game jam that this was posted for I had such a moment of inspiration to continue developing this based on the comments given and general things that I found to be lacking.
I added so many things and I think for the future I'm going to have a notepad used for everytime I add something because I couldn't possibly name them all.
The most notable things added however are a combo system, complete re-skin of the background, and NPC's a combo system and an upgrade system.
I had so much fun developing this and sending it to people to try and beat the high score, do your best, beat my score! It is not unattainable!
