#update
It's been two years, but a big update to Palette Studio is out! Please see the change log below from CHANGELOG.TXT:
- Plugin confirmed compatible from Blender 2.83 to 3.6.0.
- Palette
- Added the option to disable palettizing rendered frames.
- Camera Rig
- 16 Camera Angles: Added the option to use standard cameras (1-16) -or- ZDoom Camera IDs and camera angles (1-9, A-F).
- The cameras in the camera rig can now have their Radius, Height, and Angle adjusted simultaneously.
- The camera types can be changed simultaneously between Perspective, Orthographic, and Panoramic.
- The camera orthographic scales can be changed simultaneously.
- Render
- Alpha Threshold has been disabled, it did not function as intended.
- "Render" has been changed to "Render Frame" and will render one frame of angles.
- "Render Animation" has been added, and will render an animation from the active start frame to end frame on the animation timeline. Each frame of animation will include all enabled cameras.
- Animation frame identifiers on filenames will start at either 1 by default, or by the actual starting frame number depending on if the option is disabled.
- Overall
- The render process has been improved. While the UI is still disabled during render, the scene will update the active camera while rendering is progressing. Switching to Camera View will give a preview of the camera angle currently being rendered.
