Restart Heart Anniversary

Restart Heart has officially been around for a whole year!!! I don't have many words to say other than what I've already stated on social media, but thank you all for following along and supporting my game! Here's a small update as a precursor to a HUGE upcoming update!

Dev Log July 8th

Important Updates

• Began preparing the game for 4K release, releasing the first version of it for demoing to show the resolution difference
• Added a few more hints into the BGs and began finalizing art assets
• Condensed file size using a webp files instead of pngs
• Updated Sprites
• Updated BGs and CGs
• Finished Steph's 18+ scene

Minor Updates

• Added a few more Ezra lines in relation to if you slept with him
• Added more lines in regards to previous choices
• Changed 'very' to 'really' in a menu choice for day 4
• Fixed Blaire's reaction to Kieran
• Removed Typos
• Fought Demons Demons still being patched
• Added new soundtrack
• Added player sassing Steph

Unfortunately as much as I planned for this release to go much smoother and to happen at midnight, the universe decided to spite me and cause all sorts of problems! So! Apologies for any issues or lateness on this!

I also am aware that this build might have quite a few more typos or bugs than usual, that's because in order to keep this a surprise I didn't send it to any beta-testers. Any bugs you encounter can be submitted to the website!

What's upcoming?

Within the next 2-4 weeks the final demo for Restart Heart will be released! After this is released, I'll take a short hiatus to focus on my health since I've not been doing too great recently. But once I'm back from hiatus all the updates for the game will be posted to Patreon for testing until the full game release on December 1st, 2024.

Why are there 2 versions of Restart Heart on the page right now?

One of the versions is in 4k! The other is the standard 1080p, this is to give you guys an example of how the visuals will change between the paid and free versions of the game. (This is not going to be the only difference upon final release this is just the easiest to show now)
