Hey all,
Got a chunky update for you all :) Here's the deets:
What's New?
- You can now setup colors for your achievement titles. In the settings, you can set a default color for your achievement titles and when creating new achievements you can override it if you choose.
- When selecting colors in the Achievements System, you can now choose custom colors rather than being locked into the basic colors that it provides by default.
- (Premium Version Only) In addition to switches, variables and items, it's now possible to create achievements based on the player-character's level.
- It's now possible to choose whether you'd like to cap a progress-based achievement (such as Variable, Item or Level) to an achievement's required value. For example, if you have an achievement that requires you to get 5 items and you have 7, the achievements menu will show 5/5 for the progress rather than 7/5.
- It's now possible to enable and customise a progress bar which is displayed in the in-game achievements menu for progress-based achievements.
What's Changed?
- The Achievement System's GUI has had a spruce up in some areas, mainly around achievement creation/editing and the Achievement System's settings. This is to accommodate the new functionality that was added and to try and improve the user experience.
- Switch-based achievements used to show nothing for the progress section of the in-game achievements menu. It now displays as "IN PROGRESS" if the achievement isn't complete (there are plans to allow for customising this in the near future).
- The in-game achievements menu has been shown some love and no longer looks empty:
What's Fixed?
A bunch of smaller stuff behind the scenes have been fixed that I forgot to make a note of :P
One of the main standouts (for me at least) is that the script file (the .cs one) is now correctly called "AchievementsSystemScript.cs" moving forward.
