The advent of this new arena also folds in a rewrite of how bullets are stored. The previous version started to show some slow down when there were a lot of bullets. Instancing and destroying the objects was causing the issue so the new system keeps a pool of objects that are loaded into memory and repurposed as needed. This keeps things nice and stable preventing any frame drops - wooooosh!
