Remember Surplus OS? Yea you probably don't... and that's the problem. Surplus OS is a Batch operating system I made in middle school that I feel deserves more love, so we're giving it it's OWN spot on our itch page! Batch is the Windows command prompt scripting language, and making little gadgets, desktop widgets, and fake operating systems in it was a common sight circa 2016.
The only ones to experience Surplus OS were a few close friends and family of mine, so the builds are historically preserved versions of the original operating system STRAIGHT from the "factory". These builds were distributed with a new PDF that tells you all about Surplus OS, it's history, as well as anything and everything related to it!
Besides the historically preserved systems and builds, an app similar to Wine on Linux lets you run Surplus OS programs\apps natively within Windows! All this and more are FINALLY released to the public for the first time ever, and development on the (probably final) installment will promptly begin... so take a look around and share Surplus OS with any vintage computer enthusiasts out there!
