First, i just want to thank the support i got from the roguelikes subreddit and the discord.
anyways, heres the changelog.
Adds:
-an end goal, get to the sun totem at the 20th level on any chunk to win! This game needed a goal, and now it has one. (Time taken to complete the game is shown on the ending screen)
-artifacts show up on the map now showing where they are
-mods with overlapping variables now stop the game from starting, allowing for modders to test compatibility between mods.
-respawn totem: a cyan totem that gives you one extra life when placed. has a smaller chance to get than other totems when buying from kroo.
changes:
- cave walls to be colored and not just black or green. Looks way better now!
- you now can't ascend or descend when theres a monster above or below you (when its 1 tile away from you max).
- the game now warns you in the top left of hazards when you ascend or descend.
- respawning now completely restarts the game and the remaing levels, makes the game more like a roguelike.
fixes:
-hunter quests and interaction to not crash the game and now work with the new map
