Version 1.0.2 is here!
In the end I’ve decided to scrap the easy mode due to the other changes I made which make many things much easier from the start:
- You no longer get “sucked” into battle (unless you get surprised): Approach enemies from the sides or from behind and press the button at the right time when the battle icon is displayed to get a first strike! It should make farming for Shards of Light much easier now. If you press the button when facing an enemy you’ll get into battle normally. But they can still surprise you too, so beware!
- If you run out of Turn Points, the first three times you’ll get 10 back instead of 5. Subsequent times you’ll get 5, but at that point, players should have learned how to get more Shards and increased stats. Players who still get stuck is because they really don’t wanna learn the game’s mechanics! ^^;
- Various behind the scenes improvements and QoL changes.
