Prototype and experimentation with the Defold engine to create a brand new match-3 puzzle game experience
Why another match-3 puzle game?
- Building this for myself, other people can benefit
- I'm sick of the cute candy, bubble-gum, gem genre
- I'm sick of in-app purchases
- I'm sick of advertisements
- I want a new theme!
- I also want an easily skinnible engine that can be repurposed for other themes
I love the movie Bladerunner and will soon be able to relax and zone out playing a Bladerunner/Cyberpunk themed match game that is simple, clean and fun and free of bullshit.
It's not intended to be a multi-level, character driven game with tons of levels and rewards
Just vanilla match 3 in either classic mode or timed mode.
Since it's being built in Defold I'll be able to produce a build for the following platforms
- Desktop
  - MacOS (planned)
  - Linux (planned)
  - Windows (planned)
- Browser
  - HTML5/Web Assembly (available now)
- Mobile
  - iOS (maybe)
  - Android (maybe)
