Expanded branching mission features!
tfw air defense can defend the air
ADDED
- Support for the following elements in wave missions
- Time limits
- Targeting specific enemies or structures
- Finishing a wave with enemies remaining
- The wave objective and time remaining are displayed on the HUD
- Triggers for different messages to display on events like completing a contract successfully or failing one
- DESTRUCTION contract
- Selectable during branching mission gameplay
- Destroy a number of plasma turrets within the allotted time.
- REPRISAL wave
- 1v3 fight against a HAMR ace unit
- Entering a block has a % chance of turning into a REPRISAL instead
- % chance increases depending on the number of blocks finished
- REPRISAL waves do not have completion awards except for the HAMR ace bounties
CHANGED
- ELIMINATION and INTERCEPTION contracts have been merged
- The ELIMINATION target must be lured out by destroying regular enemies
- Destroying the targets finishes the wave
FIXED
- Legacy bug causing HAMR enemies to become unable to move on the ground and remain stationary for long periods
- Literally just deleted some supposedly unused code. Unsure if this will cause other issues. Feedback appreciated!
- GC.Collect issues causing frequent hitching (Tentative)
KNOWN ISSUES
- Finishing a wave by completing the objective currently kills all remaining enemies
- This adds their bounties to the end score
- Will be changed in an upcoming update
- Sometimes enemies killed in wave resets don't "die" properly, becoming targetable even if disabled
- Still trying to figure out what's causing this
- Might solve itself when I change resets to not kill enemies
