Hello!
We’ve reached 1.1 territory!
So, the desktop backgrounds in 1.0.x were AI-generated, and actually were temp files I never got around to changing out. Valve specifically told me they do not allow AI art in games - which is fine really. So, the desktop backgrounds have all been swapped out for new ones. If you liked the old ones, sorry! I do not really have a good solution for you, unless you wanna get into modding.
